The Holly Bush has been a tavern since 1807, though the current
building dates over one hundred years before that.
There are two separate hauntings at this pub. A phantom hand will,
on occasion clap the piano player on the back as if expressing pleasure
and appreciation with the performance.
The second ghost is in the form of a waitress dresses in a black
skirt and white blouse who will willingly take food orders from
patrons. She then wanders off and vanishes. Meanwhile, when the
hungry customer eventually asks the bar staff where their order
is, they will be informed that the pub only offers bar-service food
and they have just met the resident house spirit.
